Community Room
The National Museum of the Great Lakes is back for a look at piracy on the Great Lakes. Join us for a historical and cultural re-examination of piracy and it implications for understanding Great Lakes History. No parrots, or peg legs, included but a healthy dose of thievery, mutiny, and other unsavory tales.
There's and 'Ocean of Possibilities" for fun this summer and the library didn't forget about some crafts for rainy days. Each week, the Greenwich library will have a fun craft kit that can be available first-come, first serve each Monday during summer reading.
Greenwich Reservoir Park
We'll be celebrating another awesome Summer Reading with snowcones and fun entertainment at Greenwich Reservoir Park. Jenny will also be unveiling our brand new StoryBook Trail book.
Come ready to get messy and make some ocean-inspired art while learning about what you can do to keep our oceans clean. We have projects suitable for all ages so everyone can get creative and have fun!
Take a trip without leaving Greenwich! The library is pleased to host Digeridoo Down Under playing Australian instruments and telling stories about the land "down-under." This event will take place in the grassy area across from the library.
