If a minor operation could improve your understanding of your partner's feelings and emotions, would you have it done?  When Briddey's boyfriend suggests they have the procedure done to enhance their relationship, she's sure it's a precursor to a proposal.  Despite the concerns of her family and the dire warnings from the tech guy at the telecommunications company where they work, Briddey goes ahead with it.  And chaos ensues.  Briddey isn't connecting with her boyfriend, but now she can hear the thoughts of the tech guy.  And that's just the beginning.  "Crosstalk" is a satirical look at a generation's desire for more, better, faster social connections; but how much is too much?  You'll be reminded of your favorite romantic comedy as you follow Briddey's exploits as she tries to keep her boyfriend, and everybody else, from finding out about her new "connection".
