An autistic boy who has never spoken in all of his eleven years stumbles into the Dark Web while investigating his father's death. He fears his actions may have put him and his mother in danger. And he would be right. Not far away, an extraordinary dog has lost someone he loved. He is given new purpose when he hears the boy's dilemma through a network no human has ever used before. He must get to the boy before it's too late. This is classic Koontz. Good versus evil, heart-pounding suspense and a lovable dog. I thought this was much better than some of his other recent books I have read.
