Twenty years ago, the Morgan kids went on a road trip with Grandpa. Now, as adults, they're repeating that trip, but with a few changes; two of them have their spouses with them and Grandpa is in the back, in a box. Or rather, his ashes are. As part of his will, this cross-country trip is necessary to guarantee their share of the wealth that Grandpa left behind. While the first trip might have started out exciting, no one is happy this time around. Cheap motels, bad food and bizarre tourist attractions. And now it seems that somebody is following them. The Morgans aren't your typical family and they'll do whatever it takes to get this trip over with so they can get their money. This sounded like it would be a pretty good book. What I ended up liking the most about it was the cover. The story just never grabbed me. The characters weren't as bad as I expected them to be. The dark humor wasn't that funny. Nothing really happened until it was almost over and by then, I was over it, too.
