Ten years ago, Maya was the only juror who wasn't convinced that Bobby Nock killed Jessica Silver. After many arguments and some fierce debate she managed to get all the other jurors to change their votes to "Not Guilty". But society didn't have any doubts about Nock's guilt and the jurors' verdict would haunt them for years. One of the jurors never tried to put the trial behind him but kept investigating Nock and the case. Now, he has arranged a reunion of the jurors and he's promising to reveal proof that Nock did, in fact, kill Jessica. But before he can tell them what he found, he turns up dead in Maya's room and Maya finds herself on the other side of a courtroom. I love a good courtroom drama. This, however, was a mediocre one at best and it wasn't so much a courtroom drama, as a diatribe on racism and the American justice system. The big surprise at the end turned out to be no big surprise.
