Struggling standup comedian, Dana, makes a new friend when she's approached by an apparent fan, Amanda. The two seem to have a lot in common, trying to get ahead in male dominated fields, Amanda's being computer programming. They bond even more as they share tales of sexual harassment and abuse. As they commiserate over drinks, a pact is formed to exact revenge on the men who have wronged them. What starts out as a bit of a thrill ride quickly escalates out of control leaving Dana afraid of what Amanda is capable of. And herself, too. In an obvious nod to the multitude of #MeToo stories in the news these days, Gentry takes it to a different level when the victimized women take matters into their own hands. Once again I feel like a good idea got lost in the works and mired down in the details. The writing just wasn't strong enough to make this one stand out.
