Ok, when I first read the premise of this book about a bombing at a large marathon, I thought, "What, he couldn't come up with anything original?"  But I've read Brian Freeman before so I didn't let myself be deterred and I was far from disappointed.  I flew through this book.  Yes, much of the storyline is based on a manhunt for a Muslim man suspected of doing the bombing, but we also get the suspect's side of the story.  And there are other factors at work here - investigators with more at stake than just getting their man, social media inciting citizens to take actions that they ordinarily would not and victims dealing with the aftermath.  This book is a solid home run and the unexpected twist at the end just seals the deal.
