Kate Marshall was a rising star when the young detective caught the Nine Elms serial killer. That star burned out when Kate was caught in the scandalous aftermath. Now Kate teaches at a small college and tries to forget about the past, but the past has caught up to her. There's a copycat killer at work and as Kate is drawn in to the investigation, she also becomes aware that she is still in the killer's sights. This one lived up to the hype; scary villains, a likeable detective and a captivating story. I couldn't stay away from it. I hope to see more Kate Marshall soon.
