Who would think to write a book about a disagreement over some stained sheets at a rental house? Holly Brown, apparently. And according to the author, it's based on actual events, just taken way beyond what actually transpired. The two women in the story have lots of issues and uncertainty in their lives. Neither one of them can let the sheet issue go and seem to feel if they can get the upper hand it will provide some validation to their tremulous situations. While hardly great literature, it was a generally entertaining read as we watch the women spiral out of control. I wasn't terribly happy with the ending, which seemed rather forced and "Let's hurry up and get it over with", while taking the opportunity to impart some life lessons to all of us.
