Her best friend, Ramola, a pediatrician, is with her. The two women encounter all manner of terrors as they fight to get Natalie to safety before it's too late, for Natalie has already been bitten. Wow! This book surpassed any expectatiions I had about it. This is killer. It's scary, it's funny, it takes off like a rocket and never slows down. And neither will you, reading it.
