A philandering husband is found dead. Of course, his wife is a suspect. But maybe it was the woman he was philandering with, who just happens to be a friend of the wife. Or maybe it was the woman he was blackmailing, who also happens to be a friend of his wife. Three friends, each with a reason for wanting Roman Tate dead. They talked about it at book club. Just jokingly, of course. But now he is dead. Did one of them commit murder? None of them is sure. If you're looking for a light read about other people's problems, you might enjoy this book. It just never grabbed me. I found myself skimming over parts of it, anxious to get done and on to something more substantial.
