I enjoyed the first half of this book, but then Burke's past as a prosecutor came to the forefront and the story seemed to slow down a bit as we wrangled with a lot of legal ramifications. I had things pretty much figured out before the end and while you may not like Angela very much, you'll have to admit, she is a survivor.
