Six years ago, while Andrew Mason was away on an overnight fishing trip with a buddy, his wife, Brie, disappeared from their home. The police looked hard at Andrew, but couldn't find enough evidence to charge him with her murder. After some tough times, Andrew pulled himself together, moved out of town and settled into a serious relationship with someone new. But today he got a phone call from his old neighbor. A woman who looked an awful lot like Brie showed up in front of what used to be their house. Could it really be Brie? And if it is, where has she been all this time? And what will happen now? So...it's not the most original idea and I did pick up on a couple clues early on, but that being said...a Linwood Barclay book is always better than average.
