Wes and Ivy have had an on-again, off-again relationship for 10 years. When it's good, it's very good and when it's bad...it's pretty terrible. Their most recent dust-up resulted in a phone call to the police. Now there's a detective looking into their relationship. That isn't good because Wes and Ivy share a secret from the past that could destroy their futures. This book was just...meh. Short chapters help it flow right along but there's little substance. Downing tries to explain the detective's motivation, but I felt the story was lacking in that department. There's no big shocker at the end and some story lines are kind of left up in the air.
